IR Infrared 3W LED Bulb For Flashlight

I bought one of these to play around with as a first time experience with IR light. This definitely has a very good amount of output being 3 wt which i really found out when tried out with a friends night vision monocular(a lower quality one). But at 50' -70' shining the IR drop in across the street at the front of a one story home there was a massive amount of difference in the amount of illumination that could be seen with the NV monocular. The beam 'footprint' on the front of the home was about a good 15'-18' in diameter and and since the monocular was set for it's hugest pick up level setting was starting to 'wash out' the display in the eye piece viewer. The nm rating must be fairly high because in a pitch black room I can't see any light being projected and the color of the tri-chip led is a very dark red not quite crimson but almost exactly the color of the rating stars displayed when you are writing a review to submit here. It has a SMOoth reflector and is 4.2V. Tailcap reading fresh charger TF 2400flam 18650 @4.19V is 0.48A. Generic(no instructions or markings). Doesn't energize GITD tailcap clicky button covers. 'Black light' paint either. Pill assembly removes easy(one mode) and with a little work can be mated up with a larger reflector for increased projection.
